Clean Water for Ukrainians 💙💛

<- Home |

Because of the war, many in Ukraine are without clean, potable water. The executive team at Berkey Filters decided to step up and give generously to those in need. The company partnered with Samaritan's Purse, a non-profit organization providing various types of aid to Ukraine, to resolve the lack of safe drinking water. The group purchased discounted items, and then Berkey Filters matched their purchase and donated 50 Sport Bottles and 25 Berkey Light units.

"I feel so proud to work for an organization that can provide this resource to people who are hurting the most!" Miranda, Director of Human Relations,

"Hats off to everyone here that has had a hand in making this donation possible! From packing the shipment to working on the logistics and communicating with the non-profit!"

Samaritan's Purse provides aid to those who meet the needs of victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine. Specifically for Ukraine, they put together a ''two-tier'' hospital in Lviv that is set up for trauma with two operating rooms, an emergency room, X-ray laboratory, and 58 beds, as well as a triage center at the train station where an estimated 65,000 to 75,000 people pass through each day.

Clean water is a basic necessity, and as the infrastructure that provides clean water is disrupted and destroyed, the situation becomes critical. The portability and filtering capabilities of Berkey water filters remedy immediate needs. Providing peace of mind for at least one thing Berkey Filters can contribute.
