Used to determine if your Black Filters are working correctly. A red dye test shows if the Black Berkey Filters are failing or not. This test is NOT to be done on Fluoride Filters. We recommend only using this Red Dye which is also included in all new system purchases or the use of artificial red food coloring when testing Black Filters. Other dyes and gels contain minerals and natural colors that may pass through the Black Filters, which can give inaccurate results.
